Hi pals! At fall's end, I experience a sense of heaviness as I mentally prepare for the cold weather ahead. It’s around this time of year that I begin engaging with warming practices - I go to bed earlier (and under a big down blanket), take baths, and increase my hot tea intake.
I use these warming practices to balance out the cold heaviness I feel, and lately, my favorite warming practice is boogying while I cook! It uplifts my energy and nourishes my body and spirit.
I made a playlist for you - I recommend cooking this earthy, bright soup while you listen. You’ll do a little bopping, grooving, and dancing as you slide your way across the kitchen floor. And seriously. This soup at the end is the finest reward. Enjoy!
